About Hvar Town

Hvar Town is the beating heart of the island's luxury reputation: a Venetian harbour framed by St Stephen's Square, the cathedral and the hilltop Spanjola fortress, with superyachts crowding the riva and a nightlife scene that draws an international set each summer. Stone houses climb the slopes behind the port, and renovated heritage apartments are highly prized for their scarcity and views. For investors, Hvar Town is the premier asset class on the island. Prime renovated apartments and seafront homes trade well above the municipality's ~4,530 EUR per m2 average, with luxury villas reaching into the millions. Yields are modest at around 3-3.4% on capital values, but the town delivers Croatia's strongest nightly rates and occupancy, and heritage limits on supply support durable appreciation even as island growth cools to 3-7%.
