About Güzelyalı

Southwest of the city centre along the Gulf, Güzelyalı and neighbouring Göztepe offer a flat, leafy coastal grid directly facing the sea, with the M1 metro stations just 500 m inland and a continuous seaside promenade and bike path running toward İnciraltı. The historic Asansör elevator and the Karataş seafront sit just along the shore. The area is secular, settled and family/older-resident leaning, calmer and more residential than Alsancak, but still genuinely on the water. It suits lifestyle buyers and downsizers who want sea views, walkability and metro access without nightlife, accepting yields slightly below the city average and real USD growth well behind the nominal lira figures.
